  • What is the difference between granite and quartz countertops?

    Granite is a natural stone known for its durability, heat resistance, and unique patterning. 


    Quartz is engineered from crushed stone and resin; it’s non-porous, highly stain-resistant, and requires minimal maintenance. 


    We’ll guide you through the pros and cons based on your lifestyle, space, and aesthetic preference. 


  • Do you install custom countertops (i.e. special shapes, edges, designs)?

    Yes — custom countertops are one of our specialties. We can shape and finish your stone to match unique room layouts, create custom edge profiles, integrate sinks or backsplashes, and ensure that the design aligns with your vision. 

  • Can you install countertops for both kitchens and bathrooms?

    Absolutely. Whether you're upgrading kitchen counters, bathroom vanities, or even outdoor kitchens, we have the experience and materials to handle it. We also work on fireplace surrounds, outdoor kitchens, and other decorative stone features. 

  • How long does the process take — from estimate to installation?

    The timeline depends on: 

    • The material you choose (granite, quartz, or specialty stone) 
    • The complexity of design (custom shapes, edges, cutouts) 
    • Project size (full kitchen, single vanity, etc.) 

    In many cases, once final measurements are complete, fabrication and installation can be completed within days or weeks — and we’ll give you a clear schedule during your consultation. 


  • How should I care for and maintain my new countertop?

    Granite countertops benefit from periodic sealing (often yearly) to maintain their stain resistance. Use mild soap and avoid harsh abrasives. 


    Quartz countertops are very low-maintenance and don’t require sealing. Routine cleaning with mild soap or a non-abrasive surface cleaner is sufficient. 


    We’ll provide detailed care instructions specific to your chosen material after installation.
